Description
Music24 is a community music charity, working to support people affected by ill-health and/or disability. We use the power of music to transform lives by reducing loneliness and isolation, improving wellbeing and building confidence, whilst providing vital social support networks. We specialise in working with people living with mental health issues, learning disabilities, the elderly and frail, and people living with dementia and their carers.

Benefits to the user
Music supports mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. It can also help with social skills and confidence. Our music therapists and community musicians provide an important space for adults living with a range of conditions or illnesses to have moments of connection and a sense of belonging in a warm and friendly group environment. They also give participants an opportunity to express themselves creatively and communicate in different forms.

What areas are covered?
We have specific groups across Bedfordshire (Ampthill, Flitwick, Bedford and Leighton Buzzard) as well as Luton and Hertfordshire. Some groups are weekly, some are fortnightly.
